An early Christmas has come to Vail when new snow started falling on December 9th allowing the mountain to open more terrain almost on a daily basis. As of Sunday, December 16th, 950 acres of terrain is open, which is almost all of the front side of the mountain as well as Game Creek Bowl. A substantial amount of snow is in the forecast through Wednesday which may allow the Back Bowls to open by mid week which means that Blue Sky Basin should be next on the horizon. Comments
