
The Colorado Snowsports Museum and Hall of Fame is an educational and entertaining place to learn about the history of skiing and snowboarding in Colorado, and it’s conveniently located on the second level of the Vail Transportation Center in Vail Village. It is open from 10 am – 6 pm daily. Admission is free and donations are appreciated. There is also an onsite gift shop.
The museum also offers a 1 hour walking history tour of Vail on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 am. The cost is $10 per adult and kids are free. Tours begin at the museum. Call 970-476-1876 to reserve your space on the tour.
